British Tenax® Fasteners

The British Tenax® fastener is a self locking fastener which will not come undone once engaged on its peg until released with a lifting of the button. Tenax® button with locking nut attaches to soft surfaces such as Fabric, Canvas, Leather & Vinyl to name a few. A variety of screw studs attaches to hard surfaces such as Fiberglass, Hard Plastic, Metal & Wood. 

British Tenax® fasteners are made in England and are original equipment for most British Convertible Tops and components such as AC Cobra, Austin Healey, Austin Healey Sprite, Jaguar (early models), MG Midget, Morgan & Triumph (TR2, 3 & 4).

British Tenax® Fastener components are Nickel-plated Brass and will not rust.

British Tenax® fasteners are not compatible with the German Tenax® fasteners.
