Material is sold by the yard. This refers to the material's length. The material width is based on the width of the roll of the material and is noted on the product page.

Material lengths:
1 yard = 3 feet = 36 inches

If you order 1 yard of a 54 inch wide roll, your order will be 1 yard (3 feet) long by 54 inches wide (36 inches by 54 inches).

When measuring for your project, be sure to add some extra material just in case; you can always trim off extra material. However, it’s more challenging to get an exact pattern match when adding material due to a short measurement.

Upholstery Supply USA requires a minimum order of one yard. Samples are available if you are unsure about if the material is a good fit for your project.
