SEM Classic Coat

Interior Leather Preparation:

1. Clean first with SEM Soap (SEM 39362) and a Gray scuff pad paying close attention to textured or recessed areas. 
2. Wipe soap residue with a clean damp cloth and allow to dry. 
3. Clean thoroughly with SEM Plastic & Leather Prep (SEM 38353) using a clean, damp lint free towel and wiping in one direction. 
4. When dry, scuff the leather again with a clean, gray scuff pad or 400-600 grit sandpaper. 
5. Clean again with SEM Plastic & Leather Prep using a clean, damp lint free towel and wiping in one direction.

Interior Leather Application:

Hold can approximately 6-8" from the surface to be coated. Apply 2-3 light coats allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. 

The substrate should not be subjected to heavy abuse or abrasion for 24 hours.

Additional Application Notes:

• If clogging develops, remove spray button with a twisting motion and clean with material compliant with VOC regulations in your area (Example. Brake or Gun cleaner). Do not stick pin or another object into can. Gently replace spray button with top of can and spray button pointed away from you. 
• After each use, turn can upside down and spray several seconds to clear spray tip.

Storage:

Classic Coat should be stored in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation away from heat, sparks and flames. The shelf life for Classic Coat aerosols is 3 years when stored under normal conditions.

FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS:  It is imperative that you read all product labels and instructions before using this product.  Failure to follow instructions provided on the product can lead to serious injury as well as damage to the product to which it is applied.  PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

TEST FIRST:  It is important that you test this product on a small, unexposed area of the surface to which you wish to apply it, before applying this to the entire surface.  This will ensure best results and will help prevent unintended consequences.
